It's tough for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a team that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

By the time she was out the team needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm pleased we have the assurance to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if we do, we believe we can achieve it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this tournament want to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this victory coming after win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.
